Te Teko Flower Show Was Great Success: Red Cross Effort
The Flpwer Show staged by the Te Teko Red Cross Society in conjunction with the annual Paddy’s Market on Saturday was undoubtedly a great success. This was Te Teko’s first flower show and judging by the support it received the committee should feel fully justified in making it an annual fixture. Winners of the principal events were:—
Dunderdale Rose Bowl: Mrs Dick Macdonald, 13 points; Mrs . A. H. Jamieson, 9 points. Champion Rose in Show: Mrs D. Macdonald.
Mrs H. K. Pryor’s Cup for Cut Flowers: Mrs Jaques, 28 points; Mrs D. Macdonald, 14 points. Mr W. Dawson’s Cup for Decorative Classes: Mrs Hepburn, 10 points; Mrs Hallett, Mrs Jaques and Miss B. Macdonald 5 points each.
