Rangitaiki Rifle Club Shoot
The Rangitaiki Defence Rifle Club held a shoot last Saturday when conditions were seven shots at 50.0 and 600 yards. A strong gale was blowing, otherwise the weather was fine.
R. Burgess was top scorer with 65 and several others were close up with 64. Details:—
R. Burgess 34 at 500yds, 31 at 600 yds, total 65; W. Moore 32, 32, 64; L. Davies 34, 30, 64; A. Moore 31, 30, 31, 29, 60; J. Nowland 33, 26, 59; M. Mcßae 29, 29, 58; P. McGillan 29, 61; P. Newton 29, 31, 60; S. Pearse 25, 54; W. Baker 29, retired.
