V.C. Winner Injured

When a truck loaded with timber ran off the road near Te Puke last week, the driver, Mr Clive Hulme, V.C., of Pongakawa, had several ribs broken. He was admitted to the Rotorua Hospital suffering from shock, but his condition is not serious. Since his demobilisation Mr Hulme has been in business as a carrier in the Te Puke district.
