The editor-manager of “Outlook” official organ of the j Presbyterian Church of New Zealand, Rev. L. M. Rogers, has resigned. A special committee has been set up by the Assembly to consider the appointment of a successor and the church’s future policy in regard to “Outlook.”

Rev. C. J. Tocker, Invercargill, has been elected Moderator designate of General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand. Rev. J. G. Dunn was unanimously reappointed clerk of the Assembly. Mr Dunn, Minister of Wadestown, has served the Church in this capacity for the past three years. Rev. J. S. Murray of Ashburton has been appointed Secretary of Missions in succession to the Rev. D. N. MacDiarmid, who retires next May.

Rotarian L. H. Brown, Sergeant-at-Arms of the Whakatane Rotary Club, found himself the centre of a bright little ceremony at the charter meeting of the club on Saturday night his fellow Rotarians, with Rotarian A. J. Canning as spokesman, presented him with a bonnet for his newly-acquired grand-daughter.
