LIFE MEMBERS WANTED

RECENT RELIEF DESPATCH

The Whakatane Branch of the. Red Cross Society is now engaged in a drive for ‘Life Members’, an honourable status in this worldwide organisation which can be carried on payment of £5. To date there has been a good response but more members are needed. Contact with any Red Cross officer will secure the necessary procedure for enrolment. >All fees payable in this respect are despatched direct to International Headquarters.

In a recent despatch the Bay of Plenty Centre sent overseas one case of footwear, one case of tinned food; two cases of soap and 1449 garments packed in eight cases.
