HEALTH STAMP SALES
UNPRECEDENTED DEMAND
LOCAL ‘FIRST DAY’ SALES
According to information received from the Post Office the demand throughout New Zealand for Health First Day Covers last Wednesday, was unprecedented. Despite substantial increases, quantities of covers printed for distribution by Federation Health Camps, many centres advise that stocks are almost exhausted. The Post Office advises that First Cover impressions may be obtained on any envelope. Non use of special cover does not detract from philatelic value cancellation.
