MARKET MILK TRADE
STEADY GROWTH REFRESHER COURSE ARRANGED The market milk trade, wherein milk for human consumption in the larger centres is processed in bulk by modern methods, has attracted many men during its steady growth over the last few years. To meet the demand from these men for further technical instruction, a short •course, the second of its kind, has been arranged at Massey Agricultural College from November 12 to 21. This refresher course is designed for Managers, Operators and Technicians who are unable to attend the longer courses held at the College. It will serve to keep them abreast of technical developments in dairy processing. For those who intend specialising in ice-cream manufacture—tuition on the technical side of which has been largely neglected in the past—sectional lectures in this trade will be given by visiting speakers and members of the College staff. This will be the first trade course in icecream manufacture, and already over 25 have enrolled for it.
