EVENING CLASSES
EARLY START HOPED FOR There was a good attendance at a preliminary meeting in connection with evening classes in commercial studies which was held at the High School last night. Ten pupils desiring to take shorthand and typing were present and seven desiring to take bookkeeping. Mr I. B. Hubbard told a representative of the Beacon that there was every chance classes would be started soon. Shorthand and typing would be taught on Tuesdays and bookkeeping on Thursdays said ’ Mr Hubbard and competent tutors were available. There was room for more pupils in all sections and they would be welcomed. Any prospective pupil is asked to contact Mr Hubbard immediately.
Mr Hubbard mentioned the success which had attended the other classes, plumbing, dressmaking, etc. and hoped the same would attend the classes in commercial subjects.
