At yesterday’s meeting of the Whakatane County Council a letter of greeting and wellbeing was dispatched to Cr W. A. McCracken who is at-present in hospital. Staying at the Murupara -Fishing Lodge are: Mr Hume of Auckland; Mr P. Burke, Auckland; Mr C. Flashoff, Auckland; Mr Sweeney, Auckland; Mr Kick, Auckland; Mr J. Hoffman, Maraetai; Mr Sinclair* Wellington.
