Clothing Campaign

As a result of the Red Cross Society’s campaign for clothing for children in Europe, 600 cases are in store in Wellington, and voluntary women workers are preparing the goods for dispatch. Reports from all centres indicate that the total number of cases will reach the 6000 mark. Already a substantial portion of this figure has been shipped from the other main ports. Members of the men’s detachments have been packing the cases on Saturdays.
