REGENT THEATRE

Tuesday 16, Wednesday 17. Carrying on, with improved and more mature technique, the madcap adventures they began when their “Hearts Were Young And Gay,” Gail Russell and Diana Lynn are currently co-starring with Brian Donlevy in Paramount’s “Our Hearts Were Growing Up,” at the Regent Theatre. Now these delightful damsels are treating America to some of the hilarious.mischief they created in Europe in their previous picture. Against the background of a Harvard-Princeton football game and New York’s Greenwich Village, the girls manage to involve themselves in numerous mirthful mixups with a bootlegger, the police and assorted Bohemian characters. Importantly featured in this rollicking comedy are Billy De Wolfe, William Demarest, James Brown, Bill Edwards and Sharon Douglas.
