TAURANGA BIG-GAME FISHING CLUB INCREASE IN MEMBERSHIP- . / “The club is only in its infancy but it has a great future, and I believe that in time it will be an organisation of some standing,” stated the newly-elected president of the Tauranga Big Game Fishing Club, Mr H. L.. Duncan, at the annual meeting of the club recently. The secretary, Mr J. E. Lloyd, pointed out that the membership of the club in 1945 was 88 and in 1946 had increased to 103. This year, he added, the membership had increased again. The meeting passed a vote of thanks to Mr G. F. C. Faulkner, who had been for securing 30 new financial members.
