HOSPITAL BOARD MEMBERSHIP FURTHER REPRESENTATIVE A letter from the Internal Affairs Department acquainted the Hospital Board yesterday that on the population and capital valuation basis the Borough of Whakatane was now entitled to two members on the Board, and the County to six. The new basis will be introduced at the forthcoming local body elections. At the present time the County has seven members and the Borough only one (Mr C. A. Suckling. County members are Messrs. J. Mullins, (chairman), H. C. McCready, J. P. Caulfield, L. Buddie, J. A. Mitchell, A. F. McGougan.
