Taxi Stand At the Borough Council meeting the Traffic Inspector, Mr 'K. R. Also taxis coming on to the stand from the southern residential area have to swing across the main thoroughfare to enter the taxi stand. Mr Sharpe recommended that the council consider establishing a taxi stand at the Rock opposite the present Rural Bus stop. The Traffic Inspector Was authorised to interview the taxi proprietors at present using the theatre taxi stand with the’view of removing the stand to the Rock, and to report to the next counciL meeting.
