YOUNG FARMERS’ CLUB

AWAKERI BRANCH A highly successful and well attended dance was held in the Awakeri Hall on Saturday night. A large crowd, including a bus load from Whakatane was present and conditions were rather crowded/ Nevertheless an enjoyable time was had by all present. Mr J. Barr was M.C. and the Rhythm Vendors provided the music. Competition waltzes were won by Mr B. Proffitt and Miss L. Phillips and Mr W. Lord and Miss G. Kenyon.
