DENTAL TREATMENT IMPORTANT PLUNKET SOCIETY’S INTEREST At the close of the Whakatane Plunket Society’s annual meeting a most interesting and instructive talk was given by Miss North on “The Pre-school Child.” In dealing with the. problems of bringing up children Miss North stated that the first essential was a happy home environment. She also stressed the importance of having children immunised against diphtheria and appealed to mothers to take their pre-school children regularly to the Dental Clinic. The speaker eulogised the work of the Pre-school Clinic and hoped that in the near future Whakatane would have this very necessary service.
