RIFLE SHOOTING
RANGITAIKI CLUB SATURDAY’S RESULTS The Rangitaiki Rifle Club held their fortnightly ' practice shoot on Saturday. The weather conditions were the worst experienced so far this season. Rain and wind storms swept acrpss the range all the afternoon. There were many ups and downs. It was a case of marksman’s luck whether a man struck it fine or wet. For, all that, not withstanding the weather, there were some fair scores put up. C. Penny and R. Baguley both put on 65. The next shoot will ’be held on September 6. Scores were:—
