Erosion At The Mount
A statement that erosion, which he termed as dangerous, was taking place on the harbour, front, was made by Cr G. H. Seed at a meeting of the Mount Maunganui Borough Council last week. The Borough Engineer (Mr W. I. Gardiner) in reply, reported that the proposed new Salisbury Wharf, which the Tauranga Harbour Board had decided would only be a ferry wharf, would include a 38-inch causeway.
