NOT STANDING AGAIN
MR B. S. BARRY’S INTIMATION CONTEST FOR MAYORALTY Referring to the forthcoming elections in November next Mr B. S. Barry, at the meeting of the Borough Council last Monday evening, intimated to Councillors that after having served * three consecutive terms as Mayor, he would not he seeking reelection, feeling that he had earned a spell. Cr Canning also indicated that he would not be standing for the Council.
