BADMINTON
WIN FOR WHAKATANE CLOSE CONTEST Spirits ran high at an inter-club Badminton match held in the Awakeri Hall recently, when a visiting team from Whakatane beat the home players. Final results were: Whakatane 10, Awakeri 8. All games were played in a thoroughly sportsmanlike' fashion, and were enjoyed by all.
