China Our Neighbour
“With relation to New Zealand, China is not the Far East at all, but rather our Pacific neighbour of the near North,” said Mr Colin Morrison, a Wellington Esperantist, and now a secretary for Corso, who has just returned from China, during a lecture at the Wellington Esperanto Club on the work of Corso in China. He described the terrible living conditions in some parts of China, and said that aid in the form of warm clothing was needed desperately.
