E. Armstrong and F. W. Lysaght were re-appointed visiting committee for August. Letter in Beacon A letter which appeared in a recent issue of the Beacon regarding the pedestrian crossing in Domain Road, opposite the Primary School, was discussed at length. It was pointed out that the committee as such had nothing to do with the institution of a school traffic patrol. Such a patrol must be sponsored by the school authorities.
A very careful watch will be kept by members of the teaching staff on the crossing in future and if it is considered advisable, the question of a school patrol will be at once investigated
