TABLE TENNIS

NEW ASSOCIATION FORMED MATATUA COMBINED CLUBS At a general meeting of Table Tennis enthusiasts held at Hokowhitu, Whakatane, on July 20, it was unanimously decided to form a Table Tennis Association to be called “Matatua Table Tennis Association.”

The following officials were elected for the ensuing year:— President: Rev. W. Rangi. Secretary: Miss J. Anderson.

It was decided at the : meeting that intending clubs for affiliation to the Association should enter their clubs with a list of officials and members, and two delegates to represent their club on the executive of the Association within the next ten days. The first meeting of the executive will be held at Wairaka on the evening of August 6 at 8 p.m.
