M.U.1.0.0.F. LODGE
LOYAL RANGITAIKI TWELFTH ANNIVERSARY The twelfth anniversary, of the opening of the Loyal Rangitaiki Lodge was held in the Otakiri Hall on Monday, July 14. Approximately sixty members and friends attended. Bro. H. Quayle, P.G. Group Officer acted as toastmaster. Apologies for absence were received from the Loyal 'Opotiki Lodge, the United Ancient Order of Druids and other members. Toast List A lengthy toast list was honoured the toasts ,being: i’he Loyal Toast,' Manchester Uuity: Bro Harris P.G., Bro F. Storer P.G.; Loyal Rangitaiki Lodge: Bro W. W. John, Bro A. Flegh N.G.; Visitors: Bro A. R. Burgess P.G., Bro T. Moore P.G.; Absent Friends: Bro O. Laurie P.G.; The Sisters: Bro R. Crosbie P.G., Sister E. Storer; The Brothers: Sister Teasdale P.G., Bro F. Storer; The Toastmaster: Bro F. Storer P.G., Bro H. Quayle. After an enjoyable repast dancing was carried on until midnight to music supplied by Sister Fowell and Bro A. Teasdale junior and Harris. An extra was played by Sister E. Flegh.
A competition waltz was won by Sister J. Fowell and Bro K. Linsell and Bro and Sister J. Busby won the spot waltz.
