Young Farmers’ Debate
“That the motor car has impaired the well-being of mankind” will be asserted by Paengaroa Young Farmers’ Club debating team representing Western Bay of Plenty in the Thornton Hall on Monday night, July 21. This unjustifiable claim, in the opinion of the Opotiki Y.F. Club’s debating teams, will be denied in well-considered argument on behalf of Eastern Bay’s Clubs. The attention of readers is drawn to an advertisement in this issue inviting them to attend this function which, if it reaches the debating standard of last year, will provide an excellent evening’s entertainment.
