SATURDAY’S PROSPECTS Well average fields will line up at the Avondale Winter Meeting on Saturday. The Winter Hack Handicap has been divided into two separate races, so the programme will not include division events.
The folowing are likely to be widely favoured for their engagements:—
First Winter Hack: Te Wepu, Gay Ranee, Broiealice. Second Winter Hack: Aylesbury, Schedule, Horonui. Grey Lynn Hurdles: Hunting Mac, Sir Fox, Ernada. Plumpton Handicap: Conspiracy, Leigh Hark, Landfire. Mt. Albert Steeplechase: Spirillum, Kanui te Koa, Te Rahu. Kia Ora Hack: Fianna Fail, Silver ' Cane, Chief Robin. Windsor Hurdles: Lotto,, Kilcommon,
Haereatu. President’s Handicap: Theophilus, Royal Scot, Irish Poet.
