The Sunday ‘Blackout’
When the Whakatane Minister’s Association wrote the Borough Council suggesting that the ‘blackout’ on Sunday evenings could be changed from 7 to 8 p.m. to 9 to 10.30 p.m. the council handed over finalisation to the Electrical Engineer to confer with the Bay Power Board and with Rev. Hogg of the Association. No doubt some amicable arrangement will be made.
