WHAKATANE LADIES’ CLUB THIS WEEK’S DRAW The second round of the Eclectic competition will be played on Wednesday and Saturday of this week. The draw for Saturday is: Miss Baxter and Miss Carter; Miss Otley and Miss Suckling; Miss Wilson and Miss Shapley; Mrs Butler and Mrs Burke; Mrs Morpeth and Miss Lane; Miss Plodge and Miss Hancock; Mrs West and Mrs Stone; Mrs Hay and Miss Jamieson; Miss McLeod and Miss Mahoney; Miss Gartshore and Miss Hall; Mrs Smith and Mrs Flint; Mrs Rowson and Miss Bartlett; Miss Mexted another. Owing to the men's open day tournament on 19th and 20th Saturday’s draw has been limited to weekend players only. Players are asked to make a note of the alterations made to the fixture card. On July 23 and 26, 30 and August 2nd the first and secoond qualifying rounds of the Hayter and Boon Cups will be played. Owing to the Gisborne and Hamilton tournaments coinciding with our champ, qualifying rounds the dates have been altered accordingly. The first round will be played on August 6th and 9th, the second round on 27th and 30th August and the 3rd round will be played in conjunction with the September L.G.U. Medal on 3rd and 6th September,
