COMMITTEE’S REPORT ’ SEVEN ITEMS APPEAR ' Seven items were contained in the report of the works committee which was set before the hospital board on Thursday. Two tables and several stools had been purchased for use in the ward kitchen. ' •
The tender by Hume Bros. Ltd. for tiling the men’s ward steriliser xoom was accepted.
In regard to No. 1 cottage heating it was stated that hot water had been- laid on and the stoves were no longer necessary. An open fire burning wood would be substituted in place of the stoves. Mr MrCready advocated the purchasing of fire screens as a safety measure.
