In New Zealand for the twelve months ended March 31, 1947, 110,663 passengers were carried by commercial aircraft on internal routes. A forest is not a mine that some day is bound to be exhausted but a crop capable of reproduction. A forest can be made to produce a continual yield and that indefinitely, if it is properly managed.
