The Puke Electricity Undertaking
A momentous decision was reached at the June meeting of the Te Puke Borough Council when it was formally moved that the Borough’s electrical undertaking be sold to the Tauranga Electric Power Board. This proposal was first mooted many years ago, but was solidly turned down by the Town Board of that day.
