ELECTRIC RANGES
POPULARITY IN THE BAY TOTAL OF 1143 IN USE One out of every two electricity consumers in the Bay of Plenty Power Board’s district has an electric range. The total number of consumers as at 31st March 1947, was 2339. Total h.p. of motors connected to stalled was 1143; equalling 48.72 per cent, ranges to domestic consumers. Total h.p.of motors connected to the system, 4007. Total number of waterheaters, 1874.
