TEAMS FROM EDGECUMBE VISIT TO ROTORUA A team of Edgecumbe boys competed in amateur boxing bouts at Rotorua promoted by the Awahou Boxing Club on Tuesday night. Results of interest to this district were as follows:
M. Matchett 10.3 (Edgecumbe) beat B. Pore 10.2 (Awahou). H. Canham 9.0 (Auckland) beat P. Simpson 9.0 (Edgecumbe). M. Bidois 5.3 (Awahou) beat V. Plank 5.3 (Edgecumbe). M. Williams 5.3 (Edgecumbe) and A. Morgan 5.8 (Awahou) drew. G; Simon 7.9 (Otakiri) beat H. Mohi 7.3 (Awahou).
E. Quin 10.2 (Wellington) beat B. Baty 9.13 (Edgecumbe). R. Hendrickson 10.3 (Edgecumbe) beat L. Nicholson 10.2 (Mamaku).
