HEAVIER CARCASES
MORE MEAT FOR BRITAIN Carcase weights of stock killed in New Zealand for export to date are well in excess of those of last season. Although the number of sheep and lambs killed to date is 786,643 less than for the corresponding period last season the total weight of these classes of stock is 1630 tons in excess of last season. As was anticipated beef killings show a substantial increase on those of last season. Lepers’ Trust Board
