NATIONAL PARTY
SOUTH AUCKLAND OFFICERS Officers elected at the annual meeting of the National Party’s South Auckland division, which includes the Bay of Plenty electorate, were as follows: Chairman, Mr G. A. Walsh; deputy chairman, Mr A. J. Yendell; Dominion vice-presi-dent, Mr A. W. Moore; executive committee, chairman and two delegates from each electorate in the division; emergency committee, Messrs. G. A. Walsh, A. J. Yendell, H. W. Fairhall, J. S. Allen, C. W. Parfitt, J. G. Reeves and W. A. Clark; delegates to Dominion Council. Messrs. G. A. Walsh, A.' W. Moore, J. S. Allen, W. P. Lindsay and Mrs Reeves-Smith. Mr G. A. Walsh of Cambridge, the newly-elected chairman of the division, has been prominent in the affairs of the Waikato electorate for many • years and has been actively associated with the N.Z. Sheepowners Federation. Since the formation of the Farmers Federation he has been chairman of the Waikato Meat and Wool Section, and now represents the Waikato Province on the Dominion Council.
