TUESDAY, JULY Ist, 1947 at 12.30 p.m. TE PUKE SALEYARDS 53 Choice Quality Jersey and Jersey Cross Cows 20 Jersey and Jersey Cross Heifers Auctioneer's Note: This is a very good herd of cows which have produced well under adverse conditions and which ; should do exceedingly well on the lower country. Sixty cows were milked by Mr Blaymires this season including 6 carry overs and ten heifers and they produced 2201bs fat per head on factory returns up to the end of May. This is a very good return considering that from the month of February, the production dropped by two-thirds of the December butterfat, due to the dry weather. Each cow will be sold with a full guarantee as to soundness and in calf, lyir Blaymires has had practically no udder trouble in his herd for a number of seasons and there will be a full money back guarantee on any cow that does not come in perfectly sound. We can confidently recommend this herd to dairymen requiring to build up their herds .for the coming season.
