Export Meat Killings
Export meat killings for the period October 1, 1946, to May 17,-1947, show an increase of 3262 tons over the corresponding period for 'last year , states the New Zealand Meat Producers Board, but there has been a decrease of 3316 tons in the pig meat section. Rehabilitation Loans Rehabilitation loans to the value of £1,131,626 were authorised during April as compared with £1,342,175 during March. The April authorisations bring the current total up to £36,843,272.
