PERSONAL
Mr I. B. Hubbard, whose appointment as a justice of the peace was recently gazetted, took his seat on the Bench at the Whakatane Courthouse on Tuesday. The senior justice, Mr L. H. Brown, extended a welcome to Mr Hubbard, and these remarks were endorsed by Sergeant Farrell on behalf of the police.
