BUTTER PRODUCTION
TAURANGA FIGURES INCREASE RECORDED The output of butter at the Tauranga dairy factory for the eleven months ended on April 30, totalled 1981 tons. Compared with the corresponding period of the 194)5-46 season, this amount shows an increase of 27,8 tons. Last ’month, the output totalled 101 tons, as against 82 tons in April, 1946, an increase of 19 tons. The dairy industry is at, present in the last month of the 1946-47 season,, which ends on May 31.
