EXECUTIVE MEETING - .ELECTION OF OFFICERS An executive meeting of the R.S.A. was held on May 16. Present: Messrs. L. H. Brown (in the chair), D. L. Wilson, C. H. Head, C. R. Wilson, N. Patterson, G. Otley, J. Cannell, W. Coates, A. J. Atkinson, T. H. Morgan, G. Logan, J. Stewart, J. H. Armstrong, A. Hall, J. Bryant, L. W. Luxton and L. M. Roach. Apologies were received from Rev W. Rangi and J. Hyland. Secretary: Mr L. M. Roach was elected secretary in the place of Mr C. A. Head, who expressed his desire to retire after 16 years service as secretary to the Association. Committees: The following committees were set up for the year:— Finance: Messrs. L. H. Brown, C. A. Head, G. Otley, D. L. Wilson and L. M. Roach. Relief: Messrs. A. Hall, A. J. Atkinson and Rev. Rangi. Social: Messrs. D. S. Wilson, J. Stewart, A. J. Atkinson, J. H. Armstrong and T. H. Morgan. Rehab. Grants Committee: Messrs. L. H. Borwn, C. R. Wilson and J. Cannell. Rehab. Representative: Mr L. H. Brown. Mr T. H. Morgan was elected to the Housing Committee in the place of Mr Doug. Wilson who has left the district. Delegates to Conference: Messrs. L. H. Brown and C. R. Wilson were elected delegates to N.Z.R.S.A. Annual Conference.

Messrs. L. H. Brown, W. Coates and Rev. Rangi were elected delegates to the Hamilton Conference. Hospital Visiting: It was decided to set up Hospital Visiting Committees for each month, and it was left to the president and secretary to draw up a Roster. It was decided to postpone the Annual Smoko until February or March of next year .
