EX-SERVICEMEN ALLOCATIONS
A further 113 State rental houses were allocated to ex-servicemen tenants during March under the 50 per cent, alocation system, says a statement from the Rehabilitation Board. This brought the total so allocated to 6639. In the following allocations those for March are given in parentheses and the towns quoted are the centres of the districts in which allocations were made: Auckland 1939 (25), Hamilton 510 (16), Napier 284 (7), New Plymouth 192 (3), Wellington 2397 (36), Nelson 144 (4), Christchurch 667 (17), Dunedin 372 (4), Invercargill 134 (1). Total 6639 (113).
