MATATA DANCE

RETURNED SERVICEMEN SUCCESSFUL FUNCTION Through the medium of a dance held on Thursday, May 15, in the King’s Theatre, Matata, the members of the' Matata Returned Services Club successfully launched their campaign to raise funds towards the erection of a Club House. Music was supplied by Freddie Burt and a good crowd attended, making the dance a big success. It is the desire of these Returned Servicemen to gain the approval and support qf the local residents in their efforts to raise funds. The club house will serve as a Memorial to perpetuate the memory of their comrades who did not return.
