DISTRICT FAT LAMB COMPETITION RESULTS OF JUDGING IN THE UNITED KINGDOM The New Zealand Meat Producers Board advises cabled results of the judging in London of the Board’s District Fat Lamb Competition have been received from the Board’s British Representative. The awards are as follows: District Lamb Competition, North Island: First, North Auckland; second, Poverty Bay; third, Wairoa; fourth, Wairarapa. Best Individual Pens, North Island; First, W. Powdrell (Wairoa); second, H. C. Nolan (Poverty Bay); third, C. F. Jones (North Auckland). Distrcit Lamb Competition, South Island: First, Eastern Southland; second, North Otago; third, North Canterbury; fourth, Nelson. Best Individual Pens, South Island: First, A. Cuthbertson (North Otago); second, R. T. Lambie (North Canterbury); third, Mrs G. G. Rich (South Canterbury). Full details of the competition together with judges’ comments etc., will be made available as soon as they come to hand.
