RIFLE SHOOTING
RAN GIT AIKI CLUB SATURDAY’S SHOOT The Rangitaiki Rifle Club held their usual practice shoot on Saturday. The standard of shooting was poor. This was caused by the poor type of paper used in making the targets, which soon faded and with a changing light the bull became hard to see. Davies was top with 64 closely followed by Moore with 63. The next shoot will be held on Saturday, May 10. To make the shoot more interesting teams will be selected from various districts, namely: Taneatua, Thornton, Edgecumbe, Otakiri and Manawahe. Results were as follows:
