Overcoming The Blackout
During the blackout period between 7 and 8 p.m. on Wednesday members of the Air Training Corps carried on their rifle drill on the footpath outside the hall. A motor truck with its lights on provided the lighting. Though „far from perfect it enabled cadets to spend what would have otherwise been a wasted hour carrying on with their training.
