CAR OVER BANK OCCUPANT’S LUCKY ESCAPE When a large sedan motor caI’, 1 ’, travelling to Te Puke from OpoLiki on Saturday failed to negotiate a bend on Eagle’s Hill, Waimana, it left the road and rolled over a bank. The vehicle.came to rest on its wheels in a barberry hedge about 20 feet below. The car was owned and driven by Mr N. Williams who was accompanied by three passengers, and the party was returning from a tennis match at Opotiki. The occupants escaped with a severe shaking and minor bruises. Car Slightly Damaged The car was hauled back on to the road by a breakdown van and was able to proceed under its own power. The only damage done was a few dents to the hood and body.
