Scout Bottle Collection Tomorrow

Continuing their canvass of the Borough, the Boy Scouts of the Whaaktane Citizen’s and Sea Scout troops will visit houses in Domain Road, McGarvey’s Road, Francis Street, Stewart Street, McAlister Street, Simpkins Street, Merritt Street, Louvain Street, The Heads, Hillcrest, Clifton Road, George Street, Wairere Street, Toroa Street and Matatua Street. Donations of all kinds will be acceptable including bottles, rags, waste paper and in fact all waste materials which can be rendered saleable. All proceeds will go to defray the cost of building the new hall McGarvey’s Road.
