EX-SERVICEMEN TENANTS TOTAL NOW 6526 A further 76 State rental houses were allocated to ex-servicemen tenants during February under the system 0f.50 per cent, preference to war veterans. This brought the total number so allocated to the end of that month to 6526. In the following details the cities and towns quoted are the centres of districts in which allocations have been made: Auckland, total to date 1914, for February 15; Hamilton 494, 5; Napier 277, 3; New Plymouth 189, 1;. Wellington 2361, 34; Nelson 149, 1; Christchurch 650, 11; Dunedin 368, 2; Invercargill 133, 4; totals 6526, 76.
