As a last race for the season three crews were put out on the water. The same three crews competed and it was a very ke'en contest, Moore’s crew getting the verdict by half a length with Carey’s and Dines’ crews dead-heating for second place.

At the-conclusion of the final race the Club Captain, B. Norman, in the absence of the president, declared the season closed and wished the club even greater success for next season.

It is hoped to have new crews on the water during the winter months in readiness for next regatta season. A number of new members have signified their intention of taking up the sport and it is hoped that more will come along to try themselves out. Older members have offered to teach any new members who wish ,to row during winter months.
