EASTER HOLIDAYS
POSTAL ARRANGEMENTS
On Good Friday, 4th and Easter ;Monday, 7th April, the Post Office will observe a close holiday except .as otherwise stated hereunder. Postal Branch: On Easter Monday all street receivers will be cleared at 6 a.m. and outward mais closing at 7 a.m. will be despatched principal offices. Telegraph Branch: Telegrams of an urgent nature may be presented at the Telephone Exchange Branch. Telephone Exchange Branch: Continuous attendance. - Postmen’s Delivery: On Easter ■Saturday, sth April, the deliveries will also be suspended. Rural Delivery: On Easter Saturday, sth April, the Whakatane- ' Thornton rural delivery will run as usual.
On Thursday evening the 3rd April the Money-order and Savingsbank and also the Postal and Telegraph counters will observe an attendance from 6.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. in lieu of Friday evening the 4th idem.
